Cathy Christensen, MSN, NP-C

Cathy Christensen joined the Pain Recovery Solutions team in August 2010. She practices primary care, pain management and addiction medicine.

Cathy has 36 years of experience in nursing, most recently in the areas of women's health and addiction medicine. As a Nurse Practitioner she is also involved in the evaluation and admission of patients to Dawn Farm Spera Center for subacute detoxification. She graduated from historic Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, KY, where she received a MSN and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Cathy is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and International Nurses Society on Addictions. She is married to Carl Christensen, MD, who is an associate at Pain Recovery Solutions, has 1 son and a grandson. Their family includes two dogs and three rescued cats. In their free time, they enjoy hiking and biking.
