Patrick Gibbons, LMSW, DO

Dr. Gibbons joined the Pain Recovery Solutions team in March 2006 and is a practicing psychiatrist specializing in addiction and pain.

Dr. Gibbons is a board-eligible Psychiatrist who is fellowship-trained in Addiction Psychiatry at the University of Michigan.  Dr. Gibbons received his DO degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, participated in residency training in Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic and completed residency training in Psychiatry at the University of Michigan. Prior to medical school, Dr. Gibbons received his MSW from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Gibbons is active in volunteer work with Dawn Farm, a residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment center, acting as medical director. He is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at The University of Michigan. Additionally, Dr. Gibbons is involved in work with the Washtenaw County Health Department as Medical Director of the Community Crisis Response Team. He is a consultant and clinician providing supervision to University of Michigan Psychiatry Residents and a consultant in private practice with Pain Management Solutions in Ann Arbor.
