Eva Michals, MS, PA-C
Ms. Michals joined the Pain Recovery Solutions team in May 2005. Ms. Michals practices internal medicine, pain management and addiction medicine.
Eva completed her bachelor degree at Oakland University in Medical Laboratory Science. Her medical technology work in Hematology and Microbiology at Beaumont Hospital inspired her to go back to school to complete the prerequisites for training as a Physician Assistant.
Ms. Michals received her MS and Physicians Assistant degree at the University of Detroit Mercy in 1998. She developed new skills at the Bariatric Treatment .Center as a Surgical First Assistant. She provided medical coverage, screened patients for surgery and managed patient care. Additionally, Eva worked at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in the inpatient rehabilitation unit where she medically managed high acuity patients, many of whom had related chronic pain problems.
Eva is a member of the American Association of Physicians Assistants and active in the Michigan Association of Physician Assistants. She is married with one son, two dogs, and three horses and lives on a certified organic farm.
